ACJS Student Opportunities

The Association for Canadian Jewish studies welcomes the participation of graduate and undergraduate students interested in the field of Canadian Jewish Studies. Becoming a member of the ACJS will provide students with links to scholars on the cutting edge of research in the field, as well as opportunities for furthering research and professional development.

Student are encouraged to get involved in the association by contributing to the Student Journal of Canadian Jewish Studies or to Canadian Jewish Studies.

There are also opportunities for students to participate as members of the Board, as discussants in working groups such as Jew/Multiculturalism/Canada, to assist in the editing of our newsletter, or present papers at the annual conference.

Partial travel subsidies are usually available to students whose papers have been accepted for presentation at the annual conference. Students are encouraged to join the ACJS Discussion group to stay abreast of the latest news in the field.

For more information about the ACJS or how to get involved please contact our student liaison: Stephanie Tara Schwartz, University of Ottawa.
